Engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM)
We have undertaken the complete EPCM role, for instance under a negotiated contract for the Rabi III development for Shell Gabon. We extended traditional EPCM roles to include aspects such as vendor list and contracting strategy development, freight forwarding, in-country logistics, construction management as well as paying vendors and contractors for and on behalf of the client.

Project management contractor (PMC)
Our expert teams at local level have undertaken PMC roles for projects as diverse as spurlines and PRTs as well as power distributor systems in Oman, a major tank farm port development in Fujairah, a power station upgrade in Bahrain as well as a series of jet fuel pipelines across the UAE.

Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC)
Mott MacDonald has developed robust working relationships with major EPC contractors who now come to us as a sole source supplier of detailed engineering and technical procurement services. Our expertise encapsulates the latest developments in working with clients within the frameworks of PMC and EPCM contracts. We offer such services wherever they are required but use our multi-national permanent offices in the Middle East as the hub for the provision of these services.
