We've been involved in the development of chemical plants and for refineries, and outside the proprietary process, we've provided the complete range of ‘off-site’ design, management, procurement and supervision services. Mott MacDonald is the preferred engineer for the supporting infrastructures of refinery process units such as catalytic crackers and distillation columns. The same is true for chemical plants including olefins, polyethylene, PVC, fertiliser and bitumen plants.

Our expert teams have experience in providing design and engineering for rail systems, tank farms, loading/unloading facilities, batching infrastructure and fire-fighting systems. We have also contributed to due diligence and strategic investment studies.
